The sizes of beds and mattresses range from single, three-quarter, double queen and king sizes. The are available in standard length and extra length
How long is an extra length bed/mattress?
The length of an extra length bed or mattress is 200cm.
What Is the size of a single bed or mattress?
Our standard single bed or mattress size is 92 cm wide x 188 cm length
What Is the size of a Three-quarter bed or mattress?
Our standard Three-quarter bed or mattress size is 107 cm wide x 188 cm length
What Is the size of a Double bed or mattress?
Our standard double bed or mattress size is 137 cm wide x 188 cm length
What Is the size of a Queen bed or mattress?
Our standard queen bed or mattress size is 152 cm wide x 188 cm length
What Is the size of a King bed or mattress?
Our standard King bed or mattress size is 182 cm wide x 188 cm length
What is your maximum weight capacity?
We provide multiple weight capacities according to each product specification. The maximum weight capacity available is 150kg on each side of the bed.
What comfort do you guys offer?
We offer multiple comfort levels from, firm, gentle firm as well as plush beds.
How will I know which mattress is good for me?

What is the best size bed or mattress for couples?
We recommend a king or queen size mattress for couples in the main bedroom.

How do I apply for a refund?
The store where your purchase was made or where the delivery originated will assist you with the refund process. You can contact the store directly or reach us through our WhatsApp Line for further assistance.
What do I need to provide to apply for Guarantee/ warranty claim?
An original invoice is Compulsory to file a guarantee or warranty claim; you may seek assistance with the process from the store where you purchased the bed or the store that delivered your online order.

Can I layby a bed?
Yes, Layby is currently only available in store. You can visit your nearest store to layby your ideal bed with 6 to 12 months to pay. Terms and conditions apply.

How do I place an online order?
All you need to do is browse our website, add the product of your choice in cart and proceed to checkout.
Is it safe to place an order online?
We prioritize your privacy and security. Our website uses advanced encryption to ensure your information is safe and secure.
How can I pay for my online order?
We offer multiple payment options for online shopping, choose the method that works best for you.
Can I buy a bed on Credit?
Yes, we have the following options available, Float, RCS and Mobicred.
How do I follow up on my online order?
After placing an order online, you should receive a call from one of our stores who will be assisting you with your order. If they do not call within the first 48 hours, you can contact us via our WhatsApp line to follow up and they will assist you.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery lead times are indicated on all products. Please note that some items may take longer to deliver than others especially if it’s an extra length or custom order. We will indicate during the checkout process or the store will call and advise which items may delay your order.
Can I choose when the my order gets delivered?
Yes, you can indicate in your order notes when you want the order delivered and confirm when we call you. Please keep in mind that delivery is subject to stock availability.
If I want my bed tomorrow or on a certain days how do I make sure I get it on that day?
Please contact our Sleep Experts via WhatsApp before placing your order. We will verify stock availability and confirm if delivery on that day is possible.
If my order was damaged upon delivery, what do I do?
We understand that sometimes things don’t go as expected. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately to arrange for collection and exchange. Alternatively, if the driver is still at your premises, please send the stock back and make a note on the delivery note.

What is your delivery policy?
Delivery prices differ and are determined by the location.
- Delivery within 20 kilometres from any The Bed Shop Store is R350 per delivery
- Deliveries of merchandise to addresses further than 20 kilometres from a store must be negotiated with the relevant store.
