We deliver anywhere in South Africa from the store nearest to you. Delivery is priced and quoted automatically at checkout from your postcode, and the store will call you within 48 hours of your order to confirm the delivery date.

Delivery times

• Our own beds and mattresses (Orthopaedic, Sleep & Co, Therapaedic, Aerocool) are made to order at our factory. Please allow 1 to 3 weeks for delivery. Many of our stores carry stock, so contact your nearest store to check availability — you may have it sooner.
• Sealy beds are made to order by Sealy. Please allow 2 to 6 weeks for delivery. Your nearest store can tell you whether a model is in stock.
• Extra-length and custom sizes may take longer than the times above. The store will tell you when they call to confirm your delivery date.
• Collection from a store is free. The five branches nearest your postcode are shown first at checkout, and the store will let you know as soon as your order is ready.

Delivery fees

The fee depends on the distance from the nearest The Bed Shop store to your delivery address, and is shown at checkout as soon as you enter your postcode:

• Within 25 km of a store — R350
• 25 to 60 km — R600
• 60 to 120 km — R950
• 120 to 220 km — R1,400
• Over 220 km — R2,000

If we do not recognise your postcode, the checkout quotes our out-of-area rate of R2,000 and the store will contact you to confirm the correct price before delivery. Please check your postcode carefully — it decides your delivery price.
